East Ohio Region MVP Award Rules
Most Valuable Participant
The Most Valuable Participant Award is presented to the
male and female within the East Ohio Region who achieves the highest points
average for the year by participating in a minimum of 16 events. To qualify,
they must have entered a minimum of 2 speed events, 2 rallyes, and 2 concourses
with the total minimum of 16 events. Worker points and travel points do not
count for this award.
Points awarded are to be as shown in charts 9.1.2.1 (pg. 9-2), 9.1.2.2
(pg. 9-3) and 9.1.2.3 (pg. 9-4) of the N.C.C.C. Competition Rulebook with
the exception that no bonus points will count toward the MVP award. In other
words, the maximum amount of points awarded will be 9 pts.
The reason for not awarding any bonus points is that they apply
only to speed events. No bonus points are available for rallys and councours
events.
